    It is our mission to partner with Christian families to provide an accredited, nondenominational, biblically integrated education which prepares each student to glorify God through life-long service to Jesus Christ.

    All of creation is like a grand textbook revealing to us the glory of its Creator. Accordingly, our students are taught specifically how to understand all subject areas from a biblical perspective so that they see the glory of God in every aspect of this life. The foundation of what we teach and what the students learn at BGCA is based upon the Word of God.

    In doing this, we are committed to the pursuit of academic excellence throughout our educational program. In a world dominated by mediocrity, BGCA strives to help each student realize his or her God-given potential. This goal is best achieved by maintaining high academic standards that encourage each student to do his or her best. Our teachers work with each student to acquire a mastery of basic skills and curriculum content while developing and applying critical thinking skills to various subjects and contexts.

    Since it is our goal to develop the “whole child” spiritually, academically, socially and developmentally, we have instituted some basic criteria in providing our students with an excellent Christian education. This includes our commitment to a standards-based, Christ-centered curriculum and our conviction that a school is only as good as its teachers. We hire and retain some of the finest Christian faculty in this area of the country. Commitment to these basic principles helps to ensure that we provide our students with a Christian education of distinction within a challenging and nurturing environment.
 

    Finally, one of the features of Christian education is the concept of the family as the primary educator of the child while the school serves as an extension of the home.  The impact of a Christ-centered education is multiplied when working in partnership with the home and church. As a team, we train, teach and direct students "in the way they should go" (Proverbs 22:6).  BGCA comes along the side of Christian parents and reinforces the values and principles taught at home.
