Christian Boarding School for Troubled Teens are all over the United States. The Abundant Life Academy offers schools in almost all 50 states, and even have locations in Canada, Mexico and the Cayman Islands.

To be admitted into these schools, they "are looking for gifted kids who are rejecting their Christian heritage, struggling to understand their own Christian beliefs, rebelling against parental authority, and living for today with no concern for the future." They service children who are gifted but have no motivation.

They do not accept students who are in need of mental heal services like self-harm, suicidal, or currently taking meds for psychosis or other severe mental dysfunction. They also don't take students who have been convicted of a felony for violent or sexual crimes, or if they are in need of medical detoxification from drug addiction.

Coshocton Christian School is in Coshocton, Ohio. This school is very unique in several different ways. They have multi-grade classrooms which are taught by a small staff. The Lifestyle Christian School is in Conroe, Texas. They've been active since 1985, and began with just forty students in K-5 grade. They had about 230 students by 2001 and have kept pretty steady, having roughly 200 students every year since and now take grades K-12.
