Overview
What is it about a Christian school that makes it different from other schools?
We think it is all about the vision.

Our vision is to see students encounter the Creator God and His plan for the world in their educational experience. We believe that one life, impacted by Christ, can potentially influence generations.

In order to make this vision a reality, Bowling Green Christian Academy seeks to build relationships with the Christian community, works to raise funds through various donor opportunities, and establishes programs and partnerships with various businesses.

It is a team effort to provide excellent and affordable Christ-centered education at BGCA. We recognize that our parents and friends have many different interests and the Development office offers many different opportunities for involvement. Whether you partner with us on a personal level or through your business, we welcome your investment in the vision of BGCA.

Parent-Teacher-Partnership

PTP (Parent-Teacher-Partnership) is a community-building partnership between parents, teachers, and the school.

Purpose
This BGCA parent organization raises funds through events and various sales throughout the school year that serve to advance and enhance the education of our students and the experience of our teachers.

Activities
The Fall Festival is the PTP’s largest fundraising event netting the organization just over $10,000 each of the past two years. The Fall Festival packs all kinds of fun with game-booths for school age students (or very playful adults), festival-type food, and a competitive auction. Each BGCA class provides a themed basket and designs a piece of pottery for the auction.

Other events include the Mother/Son Bowling, Mother/Daughter Bowling, Father/Son Campout, Fabulous Fridays, and Family Nights at area restaurants. The Father/Daughter Dance is usually the largest of these events.

Tuition Aid Fund

Why Tuition Aid?

The Tuition Aid fund allows BGCA to provide financial assistance to families who might not otherwise afford Christian education. Many BGCA families and friends give generously each year to the Tuition Aid fund. Over the last five years, gifts to this fund have totaled nearly $275,000. This has allowed the school to award over two hundred grants to students requiring financial assistance.

How does it work?
• Need analysis conducted by an independent, non-profit, Christian organization
• Only qualified applicants receive tuition aid
• Maximum financial assistance not to exceed 50% of tuition cost
• Funds for this need-based assistance are derived solely from gifts to the Tuition Aid Fund
• Awards are made on a yearly basis

How can I help?
• Volunteer with the development office during the annual Tuition Aid Campaign.
• Prayerfully make your tax-deductible contribution payable to BGCA.

“Give, and it will be given to you…. for by your standard of measure it will be

measured to you in return.” Luke 6:38
